Garden County Schools Science & Agriculture

 Seventeen Garden County FFA Members participated in the Nebraska FFA District 12 Career Development Events in Scottsbluff. Welding Gunner Roberson placed fourth, receiving a white ribbon, in GTAW, TIG welding.  Zeke Christiansen placed fourth, also receiving a white ribbon, in SMAW, stick welding.  Carter Dormann placed seventh in GMAW, MIG welding, and Wilsie Lobner placed tenth in OFW, oxyacetylene welding.  The team placed sixth place just 3 point behind the fifth place team.  Only the top five teams qualify to compete at the state competition in Lincoln in April. Agriculture Sales Jase Roberson, Carver Corfield, who received a red ribbon, Logan Levick, and Karma Peterson all participated in Agriculture Sales. Floriculture   Jana Spencer, Bre Yates, Ridglyn Stanczyk, and Natalie Coss participated in the floriculture contest.
