District 12 CDE January 7, 2022
The Garden County FFA Chapter competed at the Nebraska FFA District 12 held at WNCC in Scottsbluff today. We are excited to announce the results of that event. Jenason Spady, on the left, earned First Place in the Agriculture Sales event and, on the right, Kenzee Moffat earned First Place in the Shielded Metal Arc Welding event. Both received a plaque and Kenzee also won a welding helmet donated by Linweld. The Welding team earned a second-place purple ribbon and qualified to compete at the Nebraska FFA State Convention in April. Gunner Roberson earned a third place blue ribbon in oxyacetylene welding, Carter Dorman earned a fifth-place white ribbon in gas metal arc welding, Kenzee Moffat with her plaque and ribbon for first place in SMAW, and Wade dodge placed sixth in gas tungsten are welding. The livestock management team consisting of Kamry Kramer, Kyle Rote, Wyland Lobner, Joslin Marquez, and Madie Rauch received a blue ribbon in the beef division and a white ribbon in th
