GC FFA at the Garden County Fair & Back to School
The Garden County FFA Chapter had several members participate in the Garden County Fair livestock shows from August 4 through 7, 2022. Jena Spady won Senior Beef Showmanship with her market beef. She also won Senior Large Animal Round Robin Showmanship. Jena also showed poultry through 4-H this year, winning Senior Poultry Showmanship and Senior Small Animal Round Robin Showmanship. Kyle Rote also showed beef at the Garden Fair with his market steer, cow-calf pair, and stocker feeder calf. His highlights include winning Rate of Gain and Reserve Bred and Fed. As a 4-H member, Kyle also participated in the horse show and shooting sports. Gunner Roberson showed his FFA swine at the fair, as well as showing poultry as a 4-H member. Emily and Logan Levick will show their swine at the FFA State Fair from September 2 to 4.
